Accounting reports

Day book, ledger, trial balance, P&L, balance sheet, ageing, registers, expense report, GST summary — with dates and Excel.

What it is

Eleven reports, each answering one question. Every one takes a date range, downloads as Excel, and prints (use the browser's Print → Save as PDF).

The reports

  • Day book — every entry, newest first. Open one to see its lines; the admin can reverse a wrong entry here.
  • Ledger — one account's entries with a running balance.
  • Trial balance — every account's opening, movement and closing; total debits equal total credits.
  • Profit & loss — income minus expenses for the period.
  • Balance sheet — assets, liabilities and equity on one date; the two totals agree when the books balance.
  • Receivables / Payables ageing — who owes whom, in 0–30 / 31–60 / 61–90 / 90+ day buckets, oldest settled first.
  • Sales register — every shop and manual invoice and note, with tax columns.
  • Purchase register — every bill, with the ITC you can claim.
  • Expense report — spend by category.
  • GST summary — output tax collected minus input tax credit → what you pay.
