GST for online sellers

Selling on more than one website means one tax report from each, in a different layout every time. Flowgento reads them all, adds the sales from your own Flowgento shop and the invoices you typed in yourself, and gives you one GSTR-1 per GSTIN per month. It works on its own — you do not need a Flowgento shop to use it.

Step 1

Upload your reports

Drop in the monthly tax reports from each marketplace, your stock-transfer report, and any other sales sheet. We recognise the report by its columns.

Step 2

Fix what we flag

Every problem is explained in plain English with a "fix here" button: a wrong GSTIN, a missing state, tax split the wrong way, a credit note with no invoice, a date outside the month.

Step 3

Download and file

One GSTR-1 JSON per GSTIN for the GST portal's offline upload, an Excel you can read, and a reconciliation sheet with the TCS your marketplaces collected.

Which reports we read

Checked means we built and tested the reader against a real report from that website. Not checked yet means you map the columns once (we suggest them) and the layout is remembered for next month.

What the return covers

  • Sales to businesses (B2B), large and small sales to consumers (B2CL, B2CS), exports.
  • Credit and debit notes, returns and cancellations, replacements.
  • Sales through an e-commerce operator (Table 14), with the operator's GSTIN per state.
  • HSN summary split into B2B and B2C, document summary, nil-rated and exempt sales.
  • Stock sent to your own GSTIN in another state is a B2B supply; moves inside the same GSTIN are left out.

Price

On the Free plan: up to 500 report rows a month from 2 websites. Every paid plan: no limit. See Pricing.

Free on every plan, after you sign in: turn a GSTR-1 JSON into Excel, check a JSON before you upload it, merge several Excel sheets into one, and read the GST portal's error codes in plain English.

Your files and your privacy

  • The files you upload are encrypted before they are stored, and only your company can open them.
  • The original files are deleted after 30 days. You can make that shorter in Settings.
  • The rows we read from them stay in your account, separate from every other company, so you can re-open and amend a month.
  • Spreadsheet macros are never run. Zip files and very large files are checked before they are opened.

Flowgento prepares the return from the reports you give it; you or your accountant check it before you file it on the GST portal (see the Terms). Read the guide.
