Flowgento on your phone
Install the seller panel as an app on Android or iPhone, and get a notification on the phone when an order comes in.
What it is
The seller panel installs on a phone like an app: its own icon on the home screen, no browser bar, opens straight on Orders. Once installed, the phone can show a notification for a new order, a COD confirmation or cancellation, a return request, low stock or a new product question — you choose which.
If the connection drops, the app shows You are offline and loads your orders again when it is back.
Install on Android (Chrome)
- Open your seller panel in Chrome on the phone and sign in.
- A card Install Flowgento app appears at the top of the page. Tap it, then Install.
- If you dismissed the card, use Chrome’s menu (⋮) → Add to Home screen / Install app.
- Open Flowgento from the home screen from now on.
Install on iPhone
- Open your seller panel in Safari and sign in.
- Tap Share (the square with an arrow), then Add to Home Screen, then Add.
- Open Flowgento from the home screen from now on.
iPhone needs iOS 16.4 or newer, and notifications only work from the installed app, not from a Safari tab.
Turn on phone notifications
- On the phone, open the installed app (or Chrome on Android).
- Go to Settings → Communication → Phone notifications, or tap Phone notifications… on the install card.
- Tick the events you want, then tap Turn on on this phone and allow notifications when the phone asks.
- Each person turns on their own phone; a staff member who can see orders can do the same from the install card.
To stop, open the same box and tap Turn off on this phone. Untick an event to stop just that one.
If it says "not set up yet"
Push notifications need a one-time key on the server. Until the owner adds it, the box says Push notifications are not set up yet (owner task) and everything else keeps working.
Good to know
- A notification opens the order it is about.
- Notifications are per phone and per browser: turning on in Chrome does not turn on the installed app, and the other way round.
- If the phone says notifications are blocked, allow them for this site in the browser’s site settings, then reload.
