Delivery charge and delivery promise

One flat charge, free above an amount, and an honest "usually delivered in X–Y days" by pincode.

What it is

Two things in Store settings: the delivery charge customers pay, and the delivery promise — the estimate shown on product pages and at checkout, worked out from the customer's pincode.

Steps — charge

  1. Store settings → Shipping. Type the charge (0 = free), "Free above" (blank = never), GST on delivery. Save.

Steps — promise

  1. Store settings → Delivery promise. Tick it on.
  2. Days to hand over to the courier, then transit days for four zones: your state, neighbouring states, rest of India, North-East/J&K/Ladakh/islands. Your state comes from Settings → General.
  3. Pincodes (or first digits, e.g. 19) you do not deliver to, and where cash on delivery is off.
  4. Save. Customers see "Usually delivered in X–Y days (estimate)"; a blocked pincode is refused at checkout; a no-COD pincode hides cash on delivery.

Common mistakes

  • Promising too little: the shop shows an estimate only when this is ON. Off = "delivery date confirmed at dispatch", which is always true.
  • Leaving your state unset — every customer then counts as "rest of India".
