Referrals

What it is

Every shop has its own invite link. When a business signs up through your link and later pays for its first paid plan, both shops get referral credit — normally one month of your own paid plan free. The credit comes off your next Flowgento bill. It is never paid out as cash.

Steps

1. Settings → Referrals. Your link is at the top.
2. Press Copy link, or Share on WhatsApp to send it with a short message.
3. The other business opens the link and signs up (by email or with Google). The link is remembered for 30 days, so they can come back later.
4. When they pay for Starter, Growth or Pro for the first time, the credit appears under Your credits for both shops.

How the credit is used

• On your next plan payment, the available credit is taken off the amount.
• If the credit covers the whole amount, the plan is renewed with nothing to pay and no invoice (there is nothing to invoice).
• If your renewal is charged automatically by card or UPI, the credited part is refunded to that card or UPI account straight after the charge, and your invoice shows what you actually paid.
• On the Free plan the credit is banked (shown in months) until you move to a paid plan; it is then worth that plan's monthly price.

When there is no reward

The reward is not given when the two shops look like the same business: the same owner or admin, the same email (including name+tag@ or dotted Gmail variants), the same phone, the same GSTIN or PAN, or a signup from the same network and browser. A plan Flowgento gives a shop for free does not count — only a real payment does. Each invited shop earns a reward once.

What the other shop sees

Only your shop's name. You see only theirs and whether they have signed up or paid — nothing else about their business.

Who can see this

Only the shop's admin. Staff cannot open Referrals and it cannot be granted.

Common mistakes

• Signing up a second shop for yourself through your own link. It is detected and not rewarded.
• Expecting cash. Credit only reduces Flowgento plan payments.
• The page says the programme is not open yet. Your link already works and invited shops are remembered; rewards start when Flowgento switches the programme on.
