Search appearance — your shop on Google
Choose whether your shop shows on Google, and write your own search title and description for any product or category, with a live Google-style preview.
Where to find it
Online shop → Search appearance — https://flowgento.ai/ecommerce/seo (shop admins only).
Show my shop on Google
- Automatic (recommended): your shop shows on Google once it is approved and has at least one product in the shop. A shop that is waiting for approval, suspended, or has no products stays hidden.
- On: show it even with no products yet. Off: keep the whole shop hidden from search engines.
- Some pages are never shown, whatever you choose: the cart, checkout, a customer's account and orders, sign-in, order tracking links, and search results.
- When your shop is shown, it has its own sitemap (
https://flowgento.ai/sitemap-shop-<your-shop>.xml). Search engines find it by themselves through flowgento.ai's sitemap — you do not need to submit anything.
Your own title and description
- Leave the boxes empty and Flowgento writes them for you: "Product name – Your shop" and a short description from the product's own text, price and delivery facts.
- To write your own, press Edit next to a category or product. The counter shows the length: a title up to 60 characters, a description of 120–155 characters works best. The preview shows roughly how Google may show it.
- Press Save. The change shows on the shop at once.
What Flowgento does for you
- Every product page tells Google its price in rupees, whether it is in stock (a product you make to order is simply "in stock" — customers never see "made on order"), the brand, and the barcode only when it is a real one.
- Star ratings are shown to Google only from reviews you have published, and only when they are visible on the page.
- The WhatsApp shop (/wa) points Google to the same page on your main shop, so the two are never counted as copies.
- A product you delete answers "gone" (410), so Google drops it quickly. A product you only hide answers "not found".
- Bing and other search engines that use IndexNow are told within about half an hour when a product is added, changed or deleted.
Good to know
- Google decides when and whether to show a page; new shops often take a few days or weeks to appear.
- Clear product names and real photos help more than anything you type in these boxes.
